Overview

Malta is considered to be a top destination for tourists. Indeed, being an island in the centre of the Mediterranean together with its warm climate, breath-taking views and its bilingual population it is no surprise that it has also become a popular choice for residency as well. In fact, Maltese law offers numerous schemes under which an EU or Non-EU National may take up residency in Malta.
