Malta and Saudi Arabia have signed a new agreement which aims to promote cooperation in the field of maritime transport.

The agreement seeks to facilitate the transport of goods and people, as well as the further development of economic and trade relations between the two parties.

Moreover, it also seeks to achieve better coordination of the commercial marine traffic between Malta and Saudi Arabia, the development of technical and training cooperation, information exchange in the field of maritime transport, and the coordination of the positions of the two countries in international organisations and forums related to maritime transport.
