Last March, Malta launched Malta’s Residency and Visa Programme for foreigners who wish to invest in Malta. This was introduced in Shanghai, China, by Malta’s Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth.
This Programme provides international investors with residency rights, which is applicable for non-EU/ non-EEA and non-Swiss Nationals.
Once the applicant satisfies the qualifications and general requirements, the applicant together with the registered dependants will have the right to reside, settle or stay indefinitely in Malta.
The Maltese agency entrusted with the running of the programme is Identity Malta. Each application has to be administered by a registered accredited person or registered approved agent with Identity Malta.
